Location: 6 Main Street, Dover Centre, head for the water tower!
Parking: Limited parking is available along Main Street, additional parking along Park Street, and at the beach front park.
Schedule: 9:30 Registration Opens, 10:00 Kids 500m Dash, 10:15 Run begins, 11:30-12:00 BBQ Lunch + stick around for face painting, colouring, meeting first responders and exploring emergency vehicles.
Run info:
• Pre-registration through Race Roster is strongly encouraged, but you can still register the morning of. Please plan to arrive a bit earlier if you still need to register! https://raceroster.com/events/2025/108508/hard-miles-2025
• All ages and abilities are welcome. The packed gravel path is mostly smooth and level and appropriate for bikes, strollers and wagons. We will give runners and those looking for a faster pace a head start, followed by walkers/joggers, then families with young children.
• Dogs are welcome as long as they remain leashed and are friendly.
Donations & Receipts
• All donations of $20 or more (both made ahead on Race Roster or on the day of the event) will receive a tax receipt. Race Roster will email a receipt immediately after you register online, we will issue receipts after the run for donations made outside of race roster.
• Registration is free, but we encourage you to make whatever donation you are able to. We will accept cash, cheque, debit/credit and e-transfer.
• All proceeds from this event will go straight back to maintenance and improvement of the cabin and grounds, and programming from our partners at National Famers Mental Health Alliance. We are 100% volunteer run, so that means 100% of your donation goes right back into Three Oaks.
All the rest:
• We will be serving a BBQ lunch (Hot dog or hamburger, bagged chips, veggies & fruits and water or juice box) for $10 per person.
• We will have Hard Miles T-shirts, as well as Three Oaks Cabin merchandise available for purchase (we can accept cash, cheque, debit/credit and e-transfer).
• We will have face painting, a colouring station, and first responders and emergency vehicles on site – all free, following the run.
