Firefighters responded to a structure fire just after midnight on Sunday, after reports of an abandoned building on fire.
When crews arrived, heavy flames were visible coming through the roof. Firefighters conducted primary and secondary searches and confirmed no one was inside.
The fire was quickly brought under control and no injuries were reported.
The Walpole Island Fire Department said its team remains on standby around the clock to respond when the community needs assistance.
