It is with great sadness, but peaceful hearts that we announce Robert Wayne Vyvey has now gone to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 8, 2025 at the age of 72.
He will be forever loved by his wife of 50 years, Beckie (nee Benn) and his children Matthew (Shannon) Vyvey, Lena (Joel) Morrison, Emily (Justin) Anjema, Nicole Vyvey (Chad Sheppard) and Jenessa (Michael) McGahan. Rob was a proud and cherished Grandpa to 19 grandchildren; Zacharey, Joy and Jace Vyvey, Avery, Quinn, Noah, Joshua and Emily Morrison, Keira, Colten, Oakley, Hudson and Nixon Anjema, Hilary, Abigail, Ava Dumais, Ryker and Riley Sheppard and Baby McGahan. He is now holding and cherishing his child, baby Vyvey and his grandchildren, Baby Bentley Dumais and Baby Anjema who have been waiting for his arrival in heaven.
Rob is the son of the late Robert and Joan Vyvey and a dear brother of John (Grace) Vyvey and Cindy (the late Robert) Finn. Remembered fondly as a son-in-law to the late Dorothy Benn, a brother-in-law of Gerry (Liz) Benn, Marilyn (the late David) Anderson and the late Ruth (Michael, surviving) Hindmarsh as well as by his extended family, church congregation and his coffee buddies.
Rob loved books, word searches, playing solitaire, cooking, enjoying his favourite sports teams, Detroit Red Wings, Cleveland Indians and the Hamilton Tiger Cats, but above all he loved Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.
