Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A man and woman from Ridgetown have been charged after police said they were found communicating despite court-ordered conditions.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a complaint on the afternoon of Sept. 9, 2025. An investigation revealed that a 50-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman, both under release conditions, had been in contact with each other between Sept. 6 and Sept. 9.
Both were arrested and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking. Police said the man was released with a court date set for Oct. 14, while the woman is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 20.
