The CBD Club is set to host the 2025 Star Search Karaoke Singing Contest beginning Friday, Sept. 19 and running through Oct. 24.
The contest is open to participants 19 years of age and older, with $1,800 in cash prizes available. Qualifying rounds will take place Sept. 19, 26 and Oct. 3, with registration opening at 7 p.m. in the club lounge. Contestants must be registered by 7:30 p.m., and only 20 spots are available per qualifying night. Semi-finals will follow on Oct. 10 and 17, with the final scheduled for Oct. 24.
Rules and entry forms are available at the CBD Club, located at 1342 Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg. Contestants must confirm song availability in advance by contacting 519-627-2401 or emailing martygustin@hotmail.ca. Personal CDs will not be accepted.
