A 15-year-old from Chatham, Ontario, will represent Canada on the international stage this month after being crowned Miss Eco Teen Canada.
Elise Moccia earned the national title after being selected from a group of young women from across the country, recognized for her poise, intelligence, leadership, and dedication to community service.
“This is truly a dream come true,” said Moccia, who is active in volunteer work and dance throughout her community. “I’m excited to share Canada’s diverse culture with the world and to connect with other inspiring young women from around the globe.”
As Miss Eco Teen Canada, Moccia will compete at the international Miss Eco Teen pageant in Alexandria, Egypt, where contestants from more than 20 countries will take part in cultural exchange events, eco-friendly initiatives, public speaking, and stage performances aimed at empowering young women as global leaders.
Moccia said she is passionate about advocating for children with disabilities, a cause she plans to highlight throughout the competition.
Her participation marks a major personal milestone and a celebration of Canada’s multicultural identity and youth leadership on a global stage.
