Christopher Hancock passed away at the age of 75 on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham.
Chris was born in Dresden and was a son of the late Donald and Jean (Lockhart) Hancock.
Beloved husband, of 51 years, to Carolyn (Malley) Hancock.
Loving father of Stephanie (Joe) and Tyson. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Hailey and Keegan.
Kind brother of Judith (Doug) McLachlin and predeceased by sisters Dawn Louise Biernacki and Sherry Falconer.
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Chris will be remembered for his great sense of humor and zest for life, despite many years of health struggles. His positive outlook on life was inspiring and one of the many reasons people were drawn to him. He made friends everywhere he went and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
The late Christopher Hancock rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Following Christopher’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
