Municipal service desks to reopen in Bothwell, Thamesville, and Wheatley

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is reopening additional municipal service desks in Bothwell, Thamesville, and Wheatley, expanding in-person service options for residents across the community.

Located within local Chatham-Kent Public Library branches, the desks will reopen October 20 and provide residents with access to a range of municipal services close to home.

The Bothwell desk, at 320 Main Street, will be open Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Thamesville desk, at 3 London Road, and the Wheatley desk, at 35 Talbot Road West, will be open Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. All locations will close for lunch from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents will be able to pay property taxes and Entegrus invoices, purchase dog tags and bus passes, apply for marriage licences, and obtain information or report municipal service issues in person.

“Reopening these service desks strengthens our commitment to providing accessible and convenient services for all residents,” said Mayor Darrin Canniff. “We’re ensuring people across Chatham-Kent can easily connect with municipal staff and get the help they need.”
