Blenheim Branch of Chatham-Kent Public Library will be temporarily closed from Tuesday, October 28 to Tuesday, November 11 while the library’s interior is painted.
This refresh will help create a brighter, more welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.
During this time, a temporary Library Depot will be available down the hall from the main entrance, so visitors can still:
– Pick up holds
– Browse a small selection of books, DVDs, magazines, and video games
– Use photocopying services
“Please note that public computers and seating will not be available during the closure,” library officials say.
There will be a drop box located on George St. for returns.
The library is expected to reopen with regular hours and full services on Wednesday, November 12.
“We’re excited to give the library a fresh look and appreciate everyone’s patience while the work is completed,” library officials added.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back.”
