Zonta Holiday Card Making Extravaganza returns November 15

The Zonta Holiday Card Making Extravaganza is set to return for its 17th year on Saturday, November 15, continuing a Chatham-Kent tradition that combines creativity, community, and support for local students.

Since its inception, the annual event has raised more than $58,000 in scholarships for students at St. Clair College.

Local creative business owners will once again volunteer their time to guide participants of all skill levels in making handmade holiday cards. The $70 ticket includes all supplies, a boxed lunch from Maple City Bakery, and an assortment of sweet treats.

“Each year, we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community and the joy this event brings to participants,” said Celina Shoji, president of the Zonta Club of Chatham-Kent. “Not only do we create wonderful holiday cards together, but we also help local students pursue their education through the scholarships we fund.”

Tickets are available at zontachathamkent.org.
