Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 20-year-old Chatham-Kent man is facing several charges after police were called to a disturbance in Wallaceburg.
Police say around 9 a.m. on October 22, officers responded to a residence on Wellington Street following reports of a family dispute. During the argument, the accused allegedly used a weapon and made threats toward a 48-year-old Wallaceburg man before leaving the scene.
The accused was later located on West Court and arrested. He is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and assault with a weapon.
He was taken to police headquarters and held for bail.
