Free public skates across Chatham-Kent this weekend

Chatham-Kent residents can lace up their skates for a weekend of free public skating, courtesy of several community sponsors.

The municipality announced a series of free skates taking place from Friday through Monday at arenas across the region. Most sessions are sponsored by CK Promoting Healthy Living, with additional support from St. Clair College and an anonymous donor.

Friday, October 24
— 3:30 to 5 p.m., Dresden Arena (CK Promoting Healthy Living)
— 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Chatham Erickson Arena (CK Promoting Healthy Living)

Saturday, October 25
— 12 to 1:30 p.m., Bothwell Arena (CK Promoting Healthy Living)
— 7:30 to 9 p.m., Blenheim Arena (CK Promoting Healthy Living)

Sunday, October 26
— 10 to 11:30 a.m., Chatham Memorial Arena (CK Promoting Healthy Living)
— 12 to 1:30 p.m., Ridgetown Arena (CK Promoting Healthy Living)
— 1 to 2:30 p.m., Dresden Arena (CK Promoting Healthy Living)
— 1 to 2:30 p.m., Chatham Thames Campus Complex (St. Clair College)
— 1 to 2:30 p.m., Tilbury Memorial Community Centre (CK Promoting Healthy Living)
— 2 to 3:30 p.m., Wallaceburg Memorial Arena (Anonymous Donor in Support of Children’s Activities)
— 2 to 3:30 p.m., Wheatley Area Complex (CK Promoting Healthy Living)

Monday, October 27
— 1 to 2 p.m., Wheatley Arena (CK Promoting Healthy Living)
