Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 22-year-old Thamesville man has been charged with impaired driving after a crash Saturday night in Camden Township.
Police say the single-vehicle collision happened around 10:30 p.m. on Bear Creek Road when a vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch. The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, showed signs of impairment and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, two breath samples indicated he was over the legal limit. The man was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80. He was released with a future court date of November 13, 2025.
