Angus Robert Reid passed away at the age of 83 on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg.
Angus was born in Scotland and was a son of the late John and Catherine (Piggot) Reid.
Beloved husband to the late Joan (Tennent) Reid (2020).
Loving father of Lorraine (the late Gordon) Reid and Brian (Ashley) Reid. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Payton, Colton, Hayley and Gemma.
Kind brother of Donna (the late Wayne), Ewan (Gurjit) Reid and the late John (the late Margaret) Reid.
He will be missed by his companion Lorraine Stevenson, his K9 Angie, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Angus loved to play golf and darts. He enjoyed his time spent at the Wallaceburg Legion with many friends throughout the years.
The late Angus Reid is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m.
Funeral celebration will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 1:00p.m from the chapel of the funeral home. A continuing celebration of life will then take place at the Wallaceburg Royal Canadian Legion from 2-4pm. Cremation to follow.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 18 can be left at Nicholls Funeral Home.
