Driver ticketed for failing to stop in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 57-year-old man from Chatham was issued a ticket Thursday evening after police say he failed to stop at a stop sign.

At approximately 9:18 p.m. on November 6, 2025, officers with the Chatham-Kent Police Service conducted a traffic stop on Earl Drive as part of ongoing traffic enforcement efforts.

The driver was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for disobeying a stop sign.

Police are reminding motorists to obey all traffic-controlled signs and signals, noting that coming to a complete stop helps prevent collisions and keeps roads safe for everyone.
