Employers across Chatham-Kent are being encouraged to share their experiences with the local workforce through the annual Chatham-Kent EmployerOne Survey.
The survey, conducted by the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board (CKWPB), asks employers about their recent workforce challenges and successes in 2024–2025, as well as projections for 2025–2026. It is available throughout November at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2025CKEmployerSurvey.
“The CKWPB is committed to ongoing research to enhance local labour market planning in the Chatham-Kent region,” said Ron Coristine, Chair of the Chatham-Kent Workforce Planning Board. “It is important to hear from employers so we have reliable information that helps guide and develop our workforce to meet local needs.”
The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete and is designed to help strengthen the local labour market by gathering real-time insights from employers.
Supported by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, the EmployerOne Survey helps guide collective action among the Ministry, the CKWPB and local stakeholders to address workforce challenges and opportunities.
Survey results will be shared at the CKWPB Forum in March 2026. Employers can access the survey link and past reports at www.CKWorkforce.ca, or contact the CK Workforce Planning Board at ckworkforce@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-3299 for assistance.
