Mrs. Joyce Irene Parkes, a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Wallaceburg at the age of 86 years.
She was a daughter of the late Rosaire and Rose (Bechard) Chauvin. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Parkes (2015).
Loving mother of Jeff (Mary) Parkes, Chris (Lisa) Parkes and Dave (Stacey) Parkes.
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Travis (Kori), Amanda, Matthew (Melissa), Jennifer (Colin), Megan, Katelyn, Sarah, Samantha, Skyler and Shelby. Cherished great grandmother of Kayla, Delilah, Hayden, Logan, Khloe and Colten.
Joyce loved being at home, baking, gardening, and crocheting. Her pride and joy were her children and spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren which she loved spending time with.
The late Joyce Irene Parkes rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Following with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at a later date at Riverview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Charity of your Choice may be left at the funeral home.
