Intoxicated man issued provincial offence notice after Glenwood incident

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 24-year-old Chatham man was arrested Wednesday night after police responded to a report of a disturbance involving an intoxicated individual at a Glenwood Drive residence.

Police say the man was attempting to assault people at a private gathering around 8:48 p.m. When officers arrived, he showed signs of impairment and was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

He was later released on a provincial offence notice once considered safe.
