Driver charged with impaired on Pollard Line

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 26-year-old Chatham-Kent man was charged after police stopped a vehicle on Pollard Line in Tilbury early Saturday.

Police said an open container of alcohol was found within reach of the driver, who later failed a roadside screening test.

He was taken to the OPP detachment in Leamington for further testing, where breath samples registered over the legal limit.

He was released with a court date of Dec. 2.
