Oaks Retirement Village is advising families and visitors of an Influenza A outbreak at the facility and is asking non-essential visitors to postpone visits until further notice.
In a statement on social media, the home said the health and safety of residents remains its top priority and precautionary measures are in place to reduce the spread of illness.
Those who must visit are required to wear a mask and follow all screening and infection-control measures.
The facility thanked the community for its cooperation and support as staff work to protect residents and mitigate the outbreak.
