Two injured in three-vehicle collision in Warwick Township

Lambton OPP are investigating a three-vehicle collision that sent two people to hospital Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called just before 1:45 p.m. on Dec. 1 to the intersection of Confederation Line and Forest Road, where two passenger vehicles and a pickup truck had collided.

The driver of one passenger vehicle was airlifted by Ornge to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police later confirmed those injuries were downgraded to non-life-threatening. A passenger in the same vehicle was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Four people in the second passenger vehicle were not hurt.

Confederation Line was closed between Bear Creek Crescent and Stewardson Road for about five hours before reopening.
