The Dresden Kinsmen Club will bring holiday spirit to the community this weekend with its Christmas in Toyland festivities on Saturday, Dec. 13. The annual celebration features a nighttime parade complete with lights, music and appearances from Santa.
Marshalling is set to begin at 5 p.m. at Dresden Area Central School, with the parade scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m. The event will continue afterward at the Dresden Rotary Park pavilion, where families can take photos with Santa.
Prizes will be awarded for best commercial float, best non-commercial float, best use of lights and best use of theme.
Organizers thanked the sponsors who support the event each year and said they welcome inquiries from anyone interested in becoming a sponsor.
