The Walpole Wild Junior ‘C’ hockey club topped the Wheatley Sharks 6-3 on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the Walpole Island Sports Complex.
Captain Aaron Highfield led the way for the Wild, recording a hat-trick.
The three goals gives Highfield 8 on the season, to go along with 2 assists.
Axel Howlett scored 1 goal and recorded 2 assists, while Garet Vandendool and Kyle Berkvens also scored.
The win marks Walpole’s second win of the season, as the squad sits in last place in the West Stobbs Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League with a 2-23-1 record.
