Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 25-year-old man from Charing Cross has been charged following a single-vehicle collision on Erieau Road Friday evening.
Chatham-Kent police responded to the scene on December 13, 2025, at approximately 7:14 p.m., and found the vehicle unoccupied.
Officers later located the driver a short distance away with visible injuries.
He was assessed by EMS and transported to hospital, where breath samples were obtained that exceeded the legal limit.
As a result of the investigation, multiple charges were laid.
The accused was later released with conditions and a future court date.
