No injuries were reported after Walpole Island Fire Department crews responded to a trailer fire just after midnight, officials said in an update released earlier today.
Firefighters arrived quickly on scene and were able to bring the fire under control without incident. After completing overhaul operations and ensuring the area was safe, crews returned to the station and are back in service.
The fire department thanked its members for their rapid response and ongoing commitment to community safety. The cause of the fire was not released.
