Sarnia Police Service officials allege: Traffic has returned to normal following a temporary disruption caused by a motor vehicle collision at Finch Drive and Bentley Court.
Police say the collision damaged traffic control equipment at the intersection, prompting lane restrictions while repairs were completed. Bluewater Power crews were on scene to fix the damaged infrastructure.
The Sarnia Police Service reminded drivers that when traffic lights are not functioning properly, intersections should be treated as four-way stops.
Police later confirmed the intersection had been cleared and all traffic lanes reopened in all directions.
