With heavy hearts we announce that Louisianne Marie Michiels (nee Diraison) passed away surrounded by family at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Norman Michiels (2025) and loving Mother of Lucille (Mark) Dramnitzke and Richard (Shari) Michiels.
She is a cherished Mémé of Branden (Heather) Dramnitzke, Danielle (Dale) Sterling, Ricki (Macgregor) Haddon, Bailey (Shawn) Seys, Lucas Michiels (Kristyn) and devoted Great Mémé of Blair, Harris, Wylie, Louie, Otis, Myrah, Palmer and Leni. Louisianne is the daughter of the late Jeŕome and Marie (Kergoat) Diraison born Nov 3 1930 in Plonevez du Faou France. She is predeceased by five siblings, Françoise, Pierre, Michel, Jeannette (Michel) Bicrel, Catherine and brother-in-law Michael Michiels.
She will be fondly remembered by Georges (Chantal) Bicrel, Mireille (Randy) Chevalier, Blanche (Lang) Chase, Norma (Bill) VanEerd, Nancy Michiels along with many Nieces, Nephews, extended family, friends and her roommate Beckie.
He family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Fair Field Park for all the care and compassion given over her time there.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
Family and Friends will be invited to A Celebration of Her Life which will be held in January.
