Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Chatham-Kent man is facing a charge after police responded to a report of an unwanted individual at a medical facility.
On Jan. 13, 2026, at approximately 9:02 p.m., Chatham-Kent police were called to a medical facility on Grand Avenue West in Chatham. Officers determined the individual did not have a legitimate medical appointment or emergency and was in breach of a probation order that restricted attendance at the location except for valid medical reasons.
A 34-year-old man from Chatham-Kent was arrested and charged with failure to comply with a probation order. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where he remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
