Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted in connection with a garage fire earlier this month.

Officers were called to a residence on Wellington Street East in Chatham around 10:44 p.m. on Jan. 12 after a report of a garage fire, police said Thursday.
A review of video surveillance showed a male suspect leaving the area about 15 minutes before the fire was reported, at approximately 10:29 p.m.
The suspect is described as wearing a light-coloured coat, dark pants, black boots and possibly a ball cap.
