Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A foot patrol on Pine Street in Chatham led to multiple charges on the afternoon of Jan. 24.
Police encountered a 22-year-old Chatham resident who was prohibited from attending the location under court conditions. Officers also located suspected counterfeit currency during the investigation.
The individual was charged with mischief for interfering with lawful use and possession of counterfeit currency. He was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on March 2.
