Entegrus Inc. has announced the appointment of Tomo Matesic as its new president and chief executive officer, effective March 1, 2026.
The company’s board of directors said Matesic will succeed Jim Hogan, who is retiring after more than 20 years of leadership and service to Entegrus and the Ontario energy sector.

“Tomo’s leadership, deep operational expertise, and unwavering commitment to community values make him the ideal person to lead Entegrus into its next phase of growth and innovation,” said board chair Max Fantuz. “Following a comprehensive search process supported by an external firm, it was clear that Tomo’s vision, experience, and proven track record align perfectly with Entegrus’ strategic priorities.”
Matesic joined Entegrus in 2005 and most recently served as vice-president of engineering and operations. The board said his focus on people, operational excellence and strong partnerships has played a key role in shaping the company’s culture, strategic growth and sustainability goals.
“I am honoured to be entrusted with leading Entegrus at such a dynamic time for the energy sector,” Matesic said. “I look forward to working with our exceptional employees, Board of Directors, and community partners as we continue to deliver safe, reliable, innovative and sustainable energy solutions that our customers can depend on.”
The board also expressed its appreciation to Hogan for his leadership, noting his contributions helped establish Entegrus as a trusted and innovative energy partner in Ontario.
