Big Chief Drive-In launching 4th annual ‘Burger It Forward’ campaign in Wallaceburg (Video)

Big Chief Drive-In in Wallaceburg is preparing to kick off its fourth annual Burger It Forward campaign on Feb. 1, joining restaurants across the country in support of local food banks.

Throughout February, the restaurant at 5001 Dufferin Ave. will donate $1 from every Woody Burger sold to local food banks. Canadian Beef will match each dollar nationally as part of the campaign. Customers who order a Woody Burger or Woody Deluxe will also be entered into the Big Chief Yeti Swag Draw.

The Burger It Forward initiative continues to grow, with more participating restaurants involved this year than ever before. The national campaign encourages Canadians to support local eateries while helping address food insecurity in their communities.

During the month-long fundraiser, Big Chief Drive In will also celebrate a milestone anniversary.

The owners are marking six years in business on Feb. 10 and plan to thank customers with $6 specials as part of the celebration.

More information about the campaign and participating restaurants is available at burgeritforward.ca.
