Entegrus is contributing $25,000 to Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent in support of the organization’s 2026 fundraising efforts, continuing a partnership that has spanned more than a decade.
The donation will help support Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent’s upcoming local build, aimed at providing safe and affordable housing for families in the community. Entegrus says the investment reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening neighbourhoods and supporting long-term community stability.
Anne Taylor, director of partnerships and stakeholder relations with Habitat for Humanity Chatham-Kent, said the organization is grateful for the continued support. “Entegrus has been an advocate of our work in Chatham-Kent for over a decade, contributing both time and resources to help local families achieve safe, affordable homeownership,” Taylor said. “We are grateful for their ongoing belief in our mission.”
Entegrus president and CEO Jim Hogan said the company’s role in the community extends beyond providing electricity. “Our role as a local utility goes beyond delivering electricity,” Hogan said. “It includes investing in partnerships like Habitat for Humanity that contribute to sustainable, stable, thriving communities.”
Entegrus noted it supports community initiatives through both financial contributions and employee volunteer involvement, with a focus on programs that deliver meaningful, lasting outcomes for local families.
