Chatham-Kent Health Alliance launches patient experience survey

Chatham-Kent Health Alliance has launched a new patient experience survey aimed at gathering direct feedback from patients following their hospital stay.

The survey supports the organization’s strategic plan focus, “Our focus is you,” and is designed to collect timely, patient-centred feedback after discharge. Hospital officials say the information gathered will be shared with leaders across CKHA and used to guide continuous improvement efforts.

Fannie Vavoulis, director of communications and patient experience at CKHA, said the survey helps the organization better understand care from the patient’s perspective. She said every response provides insight into what is working well and where improvements are needed, ensuring that changes are guided by the voices of patients and families.

Patients are asked to provide an email address and consent during registration. Four to five days after discharge, those who consent can expect to receive the survey by email from experience@ckha.on.ca. CKHA says the data collected will help strengthen patient-centred care and inform future improvements across the hospital.

More information about the patient experience survey is available on the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance website.
