On, Saturday, February 7, 2026, Kathryn Elaine Isaac, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, left us peacefully to be reunited with her beloved husband Ernest and her sons Daniel and Ernest ‘Rex’. She will be missed and loved dearly by her son Jeffery (Stacey) Isaac and by her grandchildren; Marissa, Jenna, Jeffery, Liani, Tehya, Gavin, Zaagadwin, Minonaagwan, Colin, Ciara, Lerayanna, Jayna, Rienna and great grandchildren Mason and Isabella. Daughter of the late Emerson and Mildred Sands and dear sister of Rose, Sandy, Diane, Bill, Debb, Jo, Mau, Emma and the late Walt, Butch and Carol. She will be remembered fondly by many as a dear aunt and will be kept in the hearts of her many extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231) on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 4-7pm. Her funeral will be celebrated at Walpole Island Sports Complex on Thursday, February 12 at 11am with burial to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
