Job seekers will have a chance to connect with employers from across the region as CKJobs hosts the Workforce Week Job Fair on March 4 at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre.
Running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the event is designed to help residents explore new career paths, meet hiring companies, and learn more about opportunities available in a wide range of industries.
The job fair will bring together employers from sectors including technology, healthcare, and skilled trades.
Attendees will be able to speak directly with company representatives, ask questions about workplace culture and expectations, and learn about current openings.
Organizers say the event is structured to support both experienced professionals and those just beginning their career journey.
Participants are encouraged to arrive prepared, with updated resumes and professional attire suitable for on‑the‑spot conversations or interviews.
A positive, open mindset is also recommended, as the fair offers a chance to make new connections and gain insight into emerging industry trends.
In addition to employer booths, the event will feature interactive displays, engagement activities, and prize giveaways throughout the day.
Matt Keech, the Program Manager of Employment and Social Services for the Municipality of Chatham – Kent notes that the fair is intended not only as a hiring event but also as a community opportunity to build relationships and support local workforce development.
Registration and additional details are available at www.ckjobs.ca, and inquiries can be directed to ckjobs@chatham-kent.ca.
Organizers look forward to welcoming attendees and helping them take the next step toward their career goals.
