Wallaceburg man surrenders on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Wallaceburg man has been arrested after surrendering himself on an outstanding warrant.

Police say that on Jan. 30, 2025, officers with the Chatham-Kent Police Service attended the residence of a 34-year-old accused to conduct a compliance check. Officers were advised by the surety that the accused had not been residing at the address since November 2024 and he was not located.

Investigators formed grounds to charge the man with failing to comply with a release order and a warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest.

On Feb. 17, 2026, at about 7:08 p.m., the accused surrendered at police headquarters, where he was arrested on the outstanding warrant. He was later released with a future court date of March 10, 2026.
