Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 62-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing charges after an intimate partner violence incident early Sunday morning.
Police responded at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Feb. 22, 2026. Investigation determined a verbal dispute escalated, during which the accused allegedly made threats and assaulted the victim.
The accused is charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and assault.
He was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on April 21, 2026.
