Chatham-Kent Public Library is inviting residents to join an informative webinar on car buying rights, presented by the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council, on Tuesday, March 31 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The session will cover tips and resources for purchasing new and used vehicles in Ontario, including information on consumer rights, dealer advertising, negative equity, long-term loans, agreements and disclosures, fraud prevention, and the OMVIC Compensation Fund.
The program will be offered in person at library branches in Chatham, Blenheim, Merlin, Ridgetown, and Tilbury, as well as online via Zoom. Residents are asked to register by contacting their local branch or calling 519-354-2940. A Zoom link will be provided to those attending virtually.
