OPP officials allege: A 19-year-old from Sarnia is facing multiple charges following a disturbance in Plympton-Wyoming that left one person with minor injuries.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers with the Lambton County detachment responded to a residence shortly after 2:15 a.m. on March 2, 2026, following reports of a disturbance involving two individuals.
Police say one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.
Following an investigation, the accused has been charged under the Criminal Code and the Liquor Licence and Control Act with assault with a weapon, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, being intoxicated in a public place, and having liquor in an open container in an unauthorized place.
The accused was held pending a bail hearing and has since been released from custody.
