Police investigating break-in at Wallaceburg park buildings

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police are investigating a break and enter at buildings in Glen Mickle Park in Wallaceburg.

Officers say they received a report at approximately 7:30 p.m. on March 5, 2026, that two park buildings had insecure doors.

Through investigation, police determined a break and enter had occurred at the park washrooms sometime between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. that day.

No items were reported stolen, but the estimated cost to repair the damaged doors is about $2,000.

The investigation remains ongoing.
