Youth baseball players will take to the field in early May as the Walpole Island community prepares to host its annual Youth Baseball Classic.
Organizers say the tournament, open to children aged seven to 12, is scheduled for May 2 and 3, 2026, at the Walpole Island Ball Diamonds.
The event is also open to participants from surrounding First Nations communities and aims to promote fun, friendly competition and community spirit.
Teams are now being assembled, with a deadline of April 10 to submit rosters.
