Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 45-year-old Chatham-Kent man is facing multiple charges after allegedly breaching court-ordered conditions and forcing entry into a Wheatley residence.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service says officers responded to a home on Little Street at approximately 1:13 p.m. on March 26, 2026, for a report of an individual breaching conditions.
Police say the accused was prohibited from attending any place where a 40-year-old victim from Wheatley lives, works or attends.
Investigators allege the accused forced entry into the residence on March 13 by damaging a rear door and returned on multiple occasions between March 23 and March 26.
Officers located the accused inside the home and arrested him. He has been charged with five counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and one count of mischief for property damage.
The accused was transported to police headquarters and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
