David White of Walpole Island First Nation passed away in Chatham on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the age of 70.
David was the son of the late Willard & Eliza (Corbin) White.
Husband of Joley (Sands) White. Loving father of Teresa White, Levi Sands, Jordan White, Dylan White, Deidra White, Rachel White and the late Michelle White. Dear grandfather of Daniel, Liam, Lilly, Alyssa, Kai and Marcus. Brother of Kenneth, Ileen Misson, Muriel Basque, Linda White and the late Gerald, Daniel, Phillip, Ronald and Delphie. David, also known as Big Head, was a draftsman by trade, designing and building homes. He had also worked many years for Navistar and Waterville T G.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Monday, March 30 from 2-4 & 6-8.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 1 at the Evangelistic Center, 156 Dan Shab Road, Walpole Island at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
