William Garnet “Bill” Eves, a resident of Dresden, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 6, 2026 at his home at the age of 86. Born in Dresden, the son of the late James Garnet and Marjorie (Patterson) Eves.
Bill was the owner of Eves Bookkeeping Service, Dresden.
He was a member of the Dresden Kinsmen Club and a charter member and past president of the Dresden Rotary Club, where he dedicated many years of service to his community.
In addition, Bill served as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Lambton Kent Memorial Arena contributing his time and expertise.
In later years, Bill enjoyed working as a greeter at Walmart, Wallaceburg.
Beloved husband of Sheila (McIntyre) Eves.
Loving dad of Deborah Caunter and Susan Eves.
Forever remembered by his grandchildren Jackson, Iris and Maxwell Caunter.
Missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Herb Eves and Jack Eves and sisters Margaret Garoutte, Norma Cooper and Dorothy Bell.
The Eves family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM.
Cremation to follow with interment in Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate at a later date.
