Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 38-year-old Chatham man is in custody following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Police say officers responded April 5, 2026, at approximately 2:35 p.m. to a residence in Chatham.
Investigators say the accused was bound by conditions not to contact or attend the residence but was found inside, hiding in a closet.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and was remanded into custody pending a video court appearance scheduled for April 7, 2026.
