Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 45-year-old Chatham-Kent man has been charged following an alleged assault at a residence on Sheldon Avenue.
Police say officers responded April 4, 2026, at approximately 4:45 p.m.
Investigators say a dispute between two individuals escalated, resulting in a 63-year-old man being struck multiple times in the face. The victim sustained injuries but declined additional medical attention.
The accused was arrested and charged with assault and later released with conditions and a future court date.
