Woman charged after break and enter at Wallaceburg home

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police Service says a 32-year-old Chatham-Kent woman is facing charges following a break and enter at a residence on James Street in Wallaceburg.

Police say officers responded around 10:52 a.m. on April 9 after a homeowner reported a smashed window and an individual inside the residence.

Officers located a suspect matching the description at the scene and made an arrest.

The accused has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence. She was transported to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a court date of June 17, 2026.
