Sarnia Police Service officials allege: A reward has been increased to $50,000 as police continue to search for a suspect in a fatal shooting at a Lambton College campus bar earlier this month.
Police say officers were called to the campus bar at approximately 12:52 a.m. on April 10 for a report of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers located three injured individuals, including one with life-threatening injuries and two with non-life-threatening injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts at the scene and later in hospital, 20-year-old Dane Nisbet was pronounced deceased.
The primary suspect in the homicide has been identified as Kyaw “Chin” Doe, who police say is believed to be actively evading arrest. A Canada-wide warrant remains in effect.
Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers announced the reward increase following recent donations. The organization is now offering up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
