A community-driven comedy fundraiser is set to return next month, with organizers aiming to build on last year’s success in support of local health care.
The event, hosted by A Night of Comedy Wallaceburg at the Sydenham Community Curling Club, is scheduled for May 9, 2026, and will raise funds for the Our Hospital Our Future Wallaceburg redevelopment project.
In its announcement, organizers said, “Laughter is the Best Medicine! 🎙️🏥 Save the date! A Night of Comedy (ANOC) is back on May 9th, 2026, for another unforgettable evening of community and laughs.”
The group noted that last year’s event raised $35,000, adding, “After last year’s massive success—raising an incredible $35,000—we are ready to go even bigger to support the Our Hospital Our Future Wallaceburg redevelopment project!”
This year’s event will feature live entertainment and fundraising activities throughout the evening.
Tickets are currently available, with organizers encouraging early purchases. “Tickets are ON SALE NOW! Don’t wait—grab yours today and help us build a better hospital for everyone,” the announcement reads.
